Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervision Information for LMSW's:

I am a Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Clinical Social Work Supervision can be defined as the process by which a "supervisee" gains the knowledge and access to tools needed (through mentoring, coaching, education, and management techniques) to obtain the opportunity to succeed as a social worker in the community at large and in keeping with the Texas State requirements needed to obtain an active, current, and legal LCSW Texas state Social Worker License. Social Work Is a science as well as art.

Individual and Group Supervision:

I offer both Individual Supervision and Group Supervision. It is hoped that regular supervision will serve as a catalyst in the development of one’s own practice approach as they grow in their competence and practice approaches and style.

I personally utilize: Erick Erickson's Developmental Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral Approaches, Solution Focused,  Prolonged Exposure, Dialecticl Behavioral, Transtheoretical Model and the Systems Theory in my utilization of the supervision process and I value each person’s developing style as they grow during the supervisory process.
